Attendance Capture - Host Intergration

 TokAM integrates with the leading student
and timetable systems. You can use the Import
module to import data from host MIS system like
Compass, Dolphin or Unit-e to name a few.
Changing the data in the host database may
affect the operation of Attendance Manager. The Data Validation
Module aims to address these issues. It is highly recommended
to run the Data Validation module immediately after every
import. The validation module will list the changes such
as new activities or modules, deleted modules, activities,
or students or changes in start dates, and will allow
you to accept them.
TokAM integrates with the leading enrolment
and timetable systems including Compass, Dolphin and Unit-e
to name a few. The Import module manages the import of
data from the colleges host MIS system and possibly also
the exporting of captured attendance back to it. Colleges
can opt to use the Attendance Manager ‘Standard
Integration’ which will give them more control over
exactly what data is imported from the host integrated
system
The Attendance Manager is robust to data
changes in colleges host systems and any changes which
would affect the attendance captured in TokAM are addressed
using the Data Validation Module. The Data Validation
module lists relevant changes such as deleted students
or re-timetabling of lessons, and provides the user with
the tools to deal with these changes. It is recommended
to run the Data Validation module after every import.
