Attendance Capture - System Administration
System Administration | Host Intergration | Capturing Attendance Mark
The Administration Module
is used to elegantly manage the many options and settings
available for configuring the Attendance Manager System.
The following system configuration options are just a
few of many available to users granted access to the administration
utility.
User/Groups
- Grant or deny user access to attendance manager modules
and all other areas of system functionality
- “User Groups” can be used to efficiently
manage and maintain privileges. Privileges can be defined
for a user group and users automatically inherit privileges
by being assigned membership to the group
- Restricting users to only mark their own registers
- Restricting attendance marking to be allowed only
for the current week or a range of weeks at a user or
system level
Register Layouts
- Multiple register layouts can be configured specifying
what, where and how text is printed on paper registers
- Portrait and landscape orientation option for A4
sized registers or even the option to configure layout
of A3 landscape registers
Mark Meanings
- Highly configurable definition of marks used in attendance
capture
- Specify any number of marks, what they mean and where
they can be entered
Host Integration
- Set up the options to be used for integrating with
your host MIS enrolment and timetabling systems
- Set integration with a large range of major college
systems or choose the standard integration option giving
the college additional control over how the attendance
manager integrates with existing systems
Web Messaging
- Management of a messaging system built into the Attendance
Manager Web Registers system
- Add, delete and modify messages and message recipients
College Setup
- Terminology varies across colleges and the Attendance
Manager system can be configured to adopt the colleges
own . For example, a ‘class meeting’ at
one college could be ‘lesson’ or ‘activity’
at other. Similarly, a colleges ‘course’
could equally be an ‘area of study’ or a
‘module’ elsewhere
