initiatives:
Education Maintenance
Allowance (EMA) scheme
TokAM has been supporting the EMA initiative since September 2004.
The latest version of TokAM EMA Module is designed to handle all EMA data management administrative processes including weekly payment decisions, bonus payment decisions, handling payment decision queries and EMA student enrolment.
It also provides automatic upload to EMASYS for enrolment, weekly payment decision and bonus payment decisions allowing colleges to reduce administrative overheads by significantly cutting down the time to enter data in EMASYS.
Connexions Card Scheme
Tokairo has an excellent working relationship with the UK Government’s Department of Education and Skills (DfES) Connexions Project Team. In partnership Tokairo is offering Colleges who use TOKAM the Tokairo Connect Module at no charge. This Module automatically uploads attendance data captured by TokAM to the Government’s central Connexions Servers. Reward points are awarded to students for attendance, which can be exchanged for services and rewards.

Integration Module
While working within a TokAM screen,
users can access student and colleges documents and folders
related to attendance information displayed. The TokAM
DM Integration Module is a quick and low cost way to link
TokAM with TokOpen, Tokairo’s market leading document
management system.
TokOpen
Tokam removes the hidden and lost files that plague
all colleges. Colleges using TokAM paper registers can
also use the scanner for capturing documents such as student
folders, enrolment, finance and staff documents. Folders
that were once out of site and a potential college liability
are centrally administered and available on line to staff
who are authorised to have access.
Complex legislation such as the Freedom
of Information and Data Protection Acts are easily managed
using TokOpen.
Files and documents managed by TokOpen can be linked to other college systems allowing
staff to access these files or documents on line while
working in other system screens.
